The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting HR data to support decision-making processes and improve HR functions.
- Role Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and maintain HR data from various sources ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and manage HR databases and data systems to streamline data collection processes.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns and insights related to recruitment, employee performance, turnover, compensation and other HR metrics.
- Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to forecast HR trends and support strategic planning.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on key HR metrics to support business objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with HR teams to implement process improvements and track their impact.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies regarding HR data.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain high data quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis preferably within HR or a shared services environment.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems and HR data analytics.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HR processes and metrics is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data handling and analysis.
Competencies:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
