Memory Design Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Memory Design Engineer with extensive experience in full custom memory design and architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in characterizing, designing layouts, and verifying SRAM designs at the compiler level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project execution, developing design quality plans, publishing DFMEA reports, and monitoring project health while identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various memory architectures and types
  • Expertise in SRAM leaf cell GDS design from scratch to top-level integration
  • Strong knowledge of memory layout design for advanced nodes (TSMC: 7nm/5nm/3nm)
  • Proficiency in physical verification flow debugging (DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR) and Calibre Physical Verification Flow
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Layout Editor and Synopsys Custom Compiler is highly desirable
  • Understanding of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm
  • Expertise in FinFET architecture, variability, manufacturability, electro-migration, IR drop, yield enhancement, and manufacturing robustness
  • Ability to create detailed and optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in this field
