We are seeking an experienced Digital Fault Tolerance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our digital products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with ASIC design teams to ensure adherence to DFT design rules and coverages.
  • Generate high-quality manufacturing test patterns using on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Verify MBIST functionality, including repair, using Mentor tools.
  • Perform ATPG and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Work closely with Product/Test engineering teams to deliver manufacturing test patterns for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Support post-silicon debug efforts and issue resolution.
  • Develop diagnostic tools for ATPG, MBIST, and ATE bring-up.
  • Maintain and enhance scripts as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 4-12 years' experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and silicon validation.
  • Previous experience with full chip DFT is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • In-depth understanding of ATPG coverage analysis.
  • Experience with memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ATPG - TestKompress, MBIST - MentorETVerify, Simulation - VCS (preferred), ModelSim.
  • Scripting skills in languages like Perl, shell, etc. are an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
  • Capacity to work on multiple high-priority designs in parallel.
