NASCAR Content Editor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced content editor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for NASCAR and excellent editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofreading articles for errors and plagiarism.
  • Researching facts and identifying incorrect claims.
  • Publishing articles in a timely fashion.
  • Mentoring and guiding writers to refine their quality and output.
  • Ensuring smooth daily operations of writers.
  • Undertaking other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

  • You're an avid NASCAR enthusiast or interested in learning more about the sport.
  • You have a good grasp of English fundamentals and American culture.
  • You're quick with fact-checking and enhancing editorial quality.
  • You take ownership of publishing articles on time and are flexible for event coverage.
  • You have leadership qualities, are a good judge of character, and have people management skills.
  • You have a keen eye for enticing titles and subheadings and basic SEO knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
