Job Title:

A seasoned data governance professional is sought after to spearhead the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Purview solutions across large-scale enterprise environments.

This role focuses on driving strong data governance, security, and compliance within the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems through strategic planning and execution.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced expert in Microsoft Purview to lead the design, deployment, and management of data governance solutions across Microsoft 365, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in enabling robust data governance, security, and compliance policies across Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance Expertise
    • Design, deploy, and manage data governance solutions for data classification, labeling, and protection policies across Microsoft 365, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
    • Configure and manage DLP, insider risk management, records management, and eDiscovery in Purview.
    • Integrate Purview with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Exchange for end-to-end compliance enforcement.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Assess current data estate, identify compliance gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
    • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management to strengthen governance.
    • Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, SOX, etc.).
  • Technical Support
    • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Purview and its integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Expertise
    • 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Data Governance, or Information Protection.
    • Strong, practical expertise with Microsoft Purview, including Compliance Manager, DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and Records Management.
  • Regulatory Frameworks
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.
    • Familiarity with Azure services, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, and SharePoint Online.
    • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) and ability to map them into technical solutions.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
