Job Overview
As an Assistant Manager at EXL, you will play a critical role in our audit and advisory team. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead multiple full rounds of external/substantive auditing, leveraging industry knowledge to identify and assess complex Process risks and controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specific audit plans, including draft work programs, risk assessments, testing strategies, data requests, etc.
  • Perform and review audit evidences, validating them for completeness and accuracy, and documenting the work-papers.
  • Draft and present audit reports, highlighting observations and other sections of the audit report to management.

Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of audit and advisory experience post-qualification, preferably with a Big 4 or leading risk advisory/public accounting firm.
  • Experience in performing multiple full rounds of external/substantive auditing and proficient with IFRS/IAS regulations, knowledge of Canadian GAAP is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and assess complex Process risks and controls, relating them to the wider business environment, and expressing opinions clearly to all levels.
