Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating robust UI test flows using Playwright, investigating AI tools to enhance QA processes, automating backend/API tests using Postman or equivalent, developing smoke tests, regression suites, and kill switches, integrating all tests into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation, debugging failing builds, isolating bugs, and logging them efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create comprehensive UI test flows to ensure seamless user experience
  • Explore the latest AI-powered tools to optimize QA processes
  • Automate backend API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Design and develop high-quality smoke tests, regression suites, and kill switches
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for real-time validation
  • Debug and troubleshoot failing builds, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Exceptional programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright
  • A deep understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle management
  • Experience with CI/CD systems including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like K6 and JMeter is an advantage
