Job Overview

This is an opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology like Apache Ray, handling the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production environments.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to take on this role, with expertise in cloud computing, particularly AWS and GCP.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate and Monitor Production Environments: Ensure seamless performance of our systems, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Cloud Deployment and Orchestration: Automate deployment and scaling of services across various cloud platforms.
    • Capacity Planning and Disaster Recovery: Collaborate with teams to ensure robust capacity planning, scale testing, and effective disaster recovery strategies.
    • Troubleshoot Customer Concerns: Provide timely support to resolve customer issues related to ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray.
    • API Design and Implementation: Develop RESTful/RPC APIs using Golang or Python, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
    • Error Budget Reporting: Implement SLO/SLI and error budget reporting for customers, ensuring transparency and reliability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Knowledge of Apache Ray: Proficiency in developing and deploying scalable applications using Ray.
  • Cloud Computing Expertise: Experience working with AWS and GCP, including deployment, scaling, and security.
  • Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in languages like Golang or Python, with experience in API design and development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
