Information Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our Knowledge Gateway/Portal by cataloging and classifying new e-Resources (ejournals, ebooks, databases, training materials).
">This specialist will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Knowledge Gateway/Portal, enriching e-Resources and training resources based on usage statistics and stakeholder management, and partnering with technology vendors and information providers to deliver needs-based training and content.
Key responsibilities include facilitating learning through various delivery methods, conducting regular assessments and evaluations of content and training programs, and ensuring their effectiveness.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge/experience in information management systems and link resolver technologies, as well as demonstrated knowledge of biomedical classification and indexing systems.
A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a corporate Information Centre is required, along with strong domain knowledge in one or more core published information areas such as Copyright, Competitor Intelligence, Biomedical Literature, Patent, Chemistry or Commercial resources.
You will also need strong networking skills to build synergies with other content and training teams, proven ability to work with key stakeholders to identify gaps in information needs, and good analytical skills, information science and technology skills.
Desirable requirements include the ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in conducting user needs assessments.
