Senior Data Quality Engineer

As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing processes to monitor and improve the quality of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans to verify the accuracy and reliability of our data
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to establish and maintain data governance policies
  • Identify and resolve issues with the data, such as errors, inconsistencies, or duplication

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mentorship and leading by example, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. They should be comfortable working with relational databases such as Redshift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB, and have a good understanding of cloud technology, preferably AWS and/or Azure DevOps.

Required Skills:
  • Proven working experience as a data test engineer or business data analyst or ETL tester
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL databases
  • Hands-on experience of best engineering practices (handling and logging errors, system monitoring and building human-fault-tolerant applications)
