Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • CAM Expertise: Leverage expertise in NX software to create and optimize 3D models, defining cutting tools and strategies for precision (50% of time).
  • Process Validation: Conduct thorough tool path simulations, generate NC code, and perform virtual simulations to ensure accuracy (15%).
  • Geometry Assembly: Validate 3D models against 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures to ensure seamless production (10%).
  • Production Support: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines, ensuring efficient production workflows (10%).
  • Quality Assurance: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed to maintain high-quality standards (10%).
  • Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators, facilitating smooth production processes (5%).
Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in NX CAM is necessary, with a preference for those holding a bachelor's degree.
  • Key Skills: Knowledge of GD&T and CNC machines is mandatory, while proficiency in NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller is preferred.
