Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the creditworthiness of clients, analyzing financial data and risk factors to make informed lending decisions.

This involves conducting thorough research, developing and refining credit scoring models to predict potential risks associated with loan applications, and authorizing or declining loan requests based on comprehensive assessments of credibility, potential revenues, and potential losses.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for efficiently evaluating and processing end-to-end loan applications within agreed-upon timelines, ensuring a smooth and timely customer experience.

Additionally, they will accurately calculate and set interest rates for approved loans, aligning with company policies and market conditions.

They will also ensure timely clearance of open audit queries and perform regular quality control checks on credit processes and documentation.

Furthermore, the Credit Risk Manager will negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients, aiming for mutually beneficial agreements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and decision-making abilities related to credit risk, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in researching and evaluating clients' creditworthiness.
  2. Ability to create and utilize credit scoring models for risk prediction.
  3. Experience in approving or rejecting loan requests for various types (secured, unsecured, working capital, LAP).
  4. Capability to evaluate and process end-to-end loan applications within TAT.
  5. Proficiency in calculating and setting interest rates.
  6. Experience with timely clearance of open audit queries and quality control checks.
  7. Ability to negotiate loan terms with clients.
  8. Skills in monitoring payments and maintaining accurate loan application records.
  9. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities related to credit risk.
  10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
