Job Details

This is a contract-based position as a Data Fabric Lead with an initial duration of 6 months, extendable.

The ideal candidate should have at least 9-12 years of experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and Microsoft Fabric projects. The role involves designing and overseeing the architecture of data fabric solutions, integrating with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design solution architecture for data fabric solutions, including integration with various Azure services.
  • Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with data fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging lakehouses, data warehouses, and real-time analytics.
  • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within data fabric.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
