Job Opportunity

The Energy Storage Specialist will be responsible for electrical system design and management.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective electrical system designs for energy storage systems.
  2. Familiarize yourself with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the USA.
  3. Lead technical reviews of documents and installations to ensure compliance.
  4. Analyze current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
  5. Prepare FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems.
  6. Manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
  7. Conduct electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures.
  8. Attend manufacturer-provided training sessions as approved by your manager.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS.
  2. A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. PhD candidates are also welcome.
  3. Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Electrical knowledge or training experience of at least three years in BESS.
  5. Excellent organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  7. Client management, team management, and process management skills.
  8. Knowledge of other electrical and PV software is an advantage.
