Technical Leadership Role

This is a full-time position requiring technical expertise with a global client.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in EHV or HV cable design.

  • Request Evaluation: Technical review of sourcing requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Cable Design: Design of cables for EHV and HV applications.
  • Sourcing Optimization: Support internal stakeholders to optimize their sourcing requests based on Supply Chain Partner capabilities.
  • Customer Inquiries: Review cable inquiries from customers and convert them into cable sourcing requests.
  • Partner Collaboration: Perform technical clarifications with our Supply Chain Partners.
  • Short Circuit Calculations: Perform short circuit calculations using Excel to define wire screen/metal sheath size.
  • Ampacity Calculations: Perform ampacity calculations using CYMCAP to define/verify conductor sizes.
  • Supplier Qualification: Check and record prequalification and type test coverage of the cables offered by suppliers.
  • Documentation Alignment: Ensure all documents available for external customers align with the Supply Chain Partner marketing strategy.
  • Quality Control Plans: Prepare Quality Control Plans and ITPs with our Supply Chain Partners.
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare technical parts of contracts.
  • Quality Record Review: Review and accept Quality Records from suppliers.
  • Test Witnessing: Witness in-process, routine, and sample tests.
