Job Title: Tech Leader for Accounting Systems

About the Role:

This position oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical systems supporting accounting functions. It requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in relevant technologies, and excellent communication skills to drive business outcomes and improve system resilience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, and Finance/Accounting teams to understand needs and deliver operational value.
  • Monitoring and Improvement: Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging capabilities, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Incident Response: Lead on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive post-incident reviews to enhance system reliability.
  • Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning: Establish best practices for capacity planning, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and compliance controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
