Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing robust web applications.
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing web applications.
  • Writing high-quality Ruby code that meets industry standards.
  • Developing and integrating data storage solutions.
  • Creating back-end components that enhance user experience.
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Collaborating with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Connecting applications with additional web servers to ensure seamless performance.
  • Maintaining APIs that power our applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Ruby on Rails, Resque, and RSpec.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable Ruby code.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
  • Experience with AngularJS or BackboneJS.
  • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM concepts.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of server-side templating languages like Slim and Liquid.
  • Familiarity with testing tools to ensure quality and reliability.
