Quality Assurance Specialist in Data

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our data product team in India to manage large datasets and ensure quality assurance processes for new product offerings.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing raw financial transaction spend data, transforming it into accurate business expense insights, and verifying data corrections based on U.S. accounting rules.

You will thoroughly review expense trends over time, across vendors and different accounting record types, deduplicate overlapping transactions, adjust amortization dates of expenses, infer amortization dates if unclear, and verify vendor information.

This role is fully remote, with some overlap with U.S. work hours required during training and onboarding. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will have opportunities to contribute to company growth and may be eligible for promotions and management positions.

  • Review and update raw financial transaction spend data to ensure accuracy
  • Verify and correct financial transaction data following U.S. accounting rules
  • Thoroughly review expense trends over time, across vendors and different accounting record types
  • Deduplicate overlapping transactions
  • Adjust amortization dates of expenses
  • Inferring amortization dates of expenses, if they are not clear
  • Verify and tag the correct vendor for each transaction
  • Document repeated data issues and collaborate with other teams to improve data quality assurance processes

Our proprietary software and Google Sheets will be used to complete primary tasks.

Closely collaborate with our U.S.-based Data Product team every day.
