Job Opportunity

Objective:

  • Develop and integrate high-performance device drivers for a variety of devices including Ethernet, I2C, PCIe, SPI, USB, NAND.
  • Customize Boot Software Package (BSP) and boot code to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers in board bring-up activities.
  • Work effectively with manufacturing teams for qualification through diagnostic packages.
  • Design software solutions that ensure high availability and redundancy.
  • Interact with customers to gather requirements, design firmware, and guarantee quality deliverables.
  • Participate in cross-functional team discussions with product management, hardware engineering, manufacturing, sales teams to develop cost-effective solutions for storage and switching platforms.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience implementing device drivers and BSP.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering and manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of real-time operating systems, multithreading, symmetric multiprocessing.
  • Proficiency in C programming, Linux driver development, and kernel architecture.
  • Familiarity with Python programming.
  • Excellent software debugging skills.
  • Experience utilizing full-range hardware test equipment like JTAG debuggers and I2C analyzers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ethernet PHYs, PCIe, USB, SPI, NAND, I2C, and SDRAM technologies.
  • Bonus skill: Knowledge of Intel x86 architecture and BIOS/UEFI.
