Job Title: Controls Testing Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing controls testing plans to ensure the effectiveness of key controls across our global business.

This position focuses on assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing, with potential to move into other operational risk domains.

  • Support the development of testing methodologies for critical key controls.
  • Communicate, agree upon, and monitor gaps in controls in line with our risk management processes.
  • Collaborate with other assurance functions across the first, second, and third lines of defense (LOD).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute control tests, coordinating the review process with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the activities of control testing analysts, reviewing the quality of work performed.
  • Ensure alignment with the assurance testing methodology.
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting the results of work performed and advise the business on appropriate solutions and remediation activities.
  • Present results to senior management to get buy-in and agreement to action.
  • Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activity.
  • Support 1LOD with issues remediation and validation of evidence before issue closure.
  • Provide feedback to design and implementation teams on any learnings identified as part of control testing.
