This role requires a strong understanding of product development, usability studies, and manufacturing processes. You will lead the end-to-end design of 1-phase and 3-phase LT/HT meters and rack-mounted devices, ensuring every product embodies simplicity, consistency, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. A proven track record of translating customer and market insights into successful, user-centric product designs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth field visits with utilities and AMISPs to gather insights on real-world pain points.
  • Translate these insights into comprehensive Design Requirements Documents that serve as blueprints for product development.
  • Apply a holistic perspective to ensure product design addresses every stage of deployment and operation.
  • Lead the industrial design of next-generation products, defining a minimalist, brand-consistent design language that delivers on functionality, aesthetics, cost, and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in industrial design, ideally with high-volume electronic or hardware products.
  • Proven track record of translating customer and market insights into successful, user-centric product designs.
  • Strong expertise in field research, usability studies, requirement gathering, and manufacturing processes.
