Marketing Cloud Lead Developer Job Description

This is a senior-level position that requires extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering marketing campaigns using the Salesforce platform, including designing and developing custom solutions, managing teams, and ensuring end-to-end delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Managing teams to deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of all marketing campaigns and projects
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud components such as Cloud Pages, Email Studio, Social Studio, Advertising Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, and Content Builder
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop specifications for marketing journeys and email templates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience working with clients delivering marketing campaign solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its data model
  • Experience with development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of AMPScript, text and HTML emails, landing pages, SMS and MMS messages, and push notifications from MobilePush
  • Proven working experience using various marketing cloud components

Others:

As a Marketing Cloud Lead Developer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Sydney team to deliver marketing cloud solutions and act as the primary escalation point for all technical enquiries. You will also participate in day-to-day business as usual activities, including campaign improvements, bug fixes, data analysis, and reporting.
