Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled data professional with 5+ years of experience for a remote opportunity.
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in database management, specifically MySQL.
  • Beyond technical skills, the role requires proficiency in Linux shell scripting, Docker/containers, Kubernetes/kubectl, and basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Python syntax and concepts is also necessary, along with understanding development best practices.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in version control systems and have intermediate to expert-level knowledge of infrastructure as code tools.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Expertise in MySQL
  • Basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting
  • Working knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure
  • Proficient in Python syntax and concepts
  • Development best practices knowledge
  • Proficient in version control systems
  • Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of infrastructure as code tools
