Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for delivering complex models and addressing business problems using machine learning and statistical modeling. You will also apply your expertise to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning and statistical modeling in e-commerce or related environments.
  • Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, ensemble methods, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
