Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting database instances
  • Performing root-cause analysis in response to database environment events
  • Identifying opportunities for improved system performance and process improvements
  • Performing code reviews and assisting teams with query optimization

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database services with other applications and technologies.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator working with SQL Server 2017 or higher
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and maintaining AlwaysOn Availability Groups
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in IT-related fields
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and infrastructure management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in technology, engineering or related field
  • General knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL experience
