We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a mechanical design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, products, and processes.

  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in fire product design.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in product design.
  • Create concepts, mechanisms, coordinate prototypes, FOT approvals, production process awareness.
  • Component lifecycle management exposure.
  • Proficient in injection molding design, sheet metal designs, and castings.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials, selection criteria, and application knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in 3D modeling, preferably Solidworks or Creo.
  • FEM simulation (static) experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in GD&T applications.
  • Process knowledge of ECN/ECR and SAP PDM knowledge.
  • Experience in pneumatics and fluid dynamics is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of first principles and fundamentals.
  • Mold and tooling design knowledge is preferred.
