Job Title: Quantitative Risk Specialist

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management group, you will be responsible for analyzing and modeling market risk measurement within an investment bank or other financial institution.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-8 years of experience in market risk measurement, with previous VaR or Credit Risk experience required. You should have knowledge of asset classes, including Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Derivatives, and Structured Products.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing and modeling market risk measurement models
  2. Evaluating and implementing risk management strategies
  3. Developing and maintaining risk reporting tools and dashboards

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or finance
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or PRIMA
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
