Job Opportunity

An experienced professional with expertise in designing electrical infrastructure is sought after to lead the design of Building Management Systems (BMS), chiller plant automation, fire detection, public address, telecommunications and security systems for data centers or industrial projects.

  • Lead the conceptual design at preliminary stages by understanding project requirements and adhering to relevant codes and standards.
  • Select the most suitable instruments and devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm and security system design.

Familiar with Data Center Master Plan, Concept, Schematics.

Should have a fair understanding of the TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.

Hands-on experience of Indian and International codes for the design.

Interdisciplinary coordination is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare/review Basis of Design documents.
  • Create BMS IO summaries, sequences of operations for various systems, cause and effect matrices for Fire alarm systems.
  • Produce detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Develop tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets and Bill of Quantities as per requirement.
  • Review technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by vendors/contractors.
  • Evaluate and perform design reviews, participate in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, perform squad checks on drawings received from other disciplines.
  • Ensure proper installation according to design with the construction team.
