Job Description

As a skilled Mobile/ App Developer, you will work on developing iOS Universal applications for iPhone, iWatch & iPad. The ideal candidate will have experience with Swift/SwiftUI, Objective-C, Cocoa pods, and XCode 9 - 11.

  • Developed mobile apps from scratch using at least one mobile language (Swift/SwiftUI, Objective-C, C, C++ etc.).
  • Published one or more iOS apps in the app store.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Familiarity with object-oriented principles including knowledge of design patterns.
  • Familiarity with commonly used data structures and algorithms
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Key responsibilities include implementing Swift Package/Cocoa Pods Private libraries for handling app functionality using native and third-party frameworks, ensuring IOS Mobile App security by performing Veracode/Checkmarx scan and providing solutions to avoid vulnerability attacks.

Additionally, you will be responsible for fine-tuning app performance using XCode instrument tool and Google Firebase framework to monitor crashes and performance during development.

You will also define, develop, and maintain web services and applications that consume them (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) using GET and POST methods.

Supporting QA/Regression with bug fixes, test case creation support, and triage meetings for better app quality is also expected.

Working with Gitlab/Cornerstone source control to committing, branching, and merge changes to the source code in repository is required.

Collaboration with design team, QAs, scrum master, and product owner to implement enhancements or new applications during daily standups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives is also necessary.

Providing cross-functional support as a member of a highly productive sprint team is key.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile app development.
  • Strong understanding of iOS development and Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Cocoa pods and Swift Package.
  • Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, and MVC design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Hybrid Mobile App Development in IOS.
  • Attend Stand Up call and provide updates.
  • Demo solution in Show and Tell.
  • Collaborate with another team.
