Job Title: Reverse Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Reverse Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with reverse engineering, detection development, and architectural vision.

  • The Reverse Engineer will investigate emerging attack techniques and design novel detection approaches.
  • Sophisticated malware investigation will include identifying malicious code, obfuscation techniques, and communication protocols.
  • Research on attacker campaigns and techniques will support detection investments and enhance customer experience.
  • The Reverse Engineer will develop and optimize generic threat detection strategies based on static and dynamic detection engines.
  • Threat hunting will involve proactive and reactive approaches to identify detection issues from large-scale datasets.
  • The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams within the product organization.
  • Developing alerting, reporting, and automated detection solutions is also required.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and industry developments is essential.
  • The Reverse Engineer will build and maintain tools and automation to improve productivity and detection efficacy.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in Android Engineering or reverse engineering.
  • Familiarity with programming fundamentals, including encoding/decoding (Base 64) and cryptography (encryption/decryption).
  • Experience with Static Analysis Reverse Engineering Fundamentals, such as decompilation, disassembly, and code auditing.
  • Dynamic Analysis Reverse Engineering Fundamentals, including debugging and monitoring.
  • Reverse Engineering Tools, like Decompilers (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2), Disassemblers (Smali/Baksmali), and Debugging Tools (ADB, JDWP).
  • Linux/Unix Command-Line experience is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills are required.
