Process Engineer - Column Internals

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with experience in the design, development, and optimization of column internals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in process design, performance evaluation, and customer support to ensure high-efficiency solutions for clients.

  1. Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes.
  2. Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  3. Work with mechanical and production teams to ensure the design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  4. Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  5. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and customer consultations.
  6. Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
  7. Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.
Qualifications

The candidates should be graduates in Chemical Engineering from recognized universities and have 2-5 years of process design experience.

2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing is required.

A strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles is essential.

Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations is necessary.

Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.

Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.

Familiarity with process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD is an advantage.
