Global Indirect Sourcing Specialist

About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Global Indirect Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Carrier. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships in India and abroad, effectively executing the RFQ process, and driving continuous process improvement and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Knowledge: You will leverage your expertise in indirect categories, cost reduction, sourcing, best practice RFQs, and negotiation processes to guide your team in achieving optimal outcomes for Carrier.
- Team Strategy: As a strategic thinker, you will define priorities for your team, engage with stakeholders to align on strategies, and adapt to changing business needs and expectations.
- People Management: With excellent people management skills and an empathetic leadership style, you will drive results, take ownership of your work and that of your team members, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a premier institute is mandatory, and an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with exposure to CoE environments.
- A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of experience.
- Strong sourcing knowledge and experience managing a team of 4-10 direct reports.
