Job Title: Senior UI Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Engineer to join our team at Flexera Software India LLP. As a Senior UI Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a technical roadmap for UI development, leveraging your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners and designers to identify and prototype new use cases and features, showcasing your creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Design and construct beautiful, robust, and secure UI applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Work in CD environments to continuously deploy features, staying up-to-date with the latest engineering principles and best practices.
  • Lead by example, mentoring a team of front-end developers, and working collaboratively with back-end developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders.
  • Become familiar with and contribute to all aspects of Flexera engineering products and best practices.
  • Confidently promote our team's principles and culture across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled in modern JS frameworks (React preferred, Angular desirable).
  • Thorough knowledge of TypeScript, ECMAScript 2023, and build tools.
  • A proven and respected engineer with 5+ years' experience in delivering successful applications at impressive scale.
  • Previous experience in business analysis to communicate comfortably with product, engineering, and UX teams.
  • Previous experience in implementing secure and responsive web applications.
  • High regard for maintaining test quality of Unit and E2E tests.
  • High understanding of accessibility and performance testing.
  • Experience building progressive web apps.
  • Comfortable with modern SCM for various types of development life cycles.
  • An understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.
