**Financial Reporting Analyst Position Overview**This role involves working as a key member of our analytical team to support the development and analysis of critical financial reports.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, data analysis, and experience working with large datasets.Responsibilities include:
  • Data Sourcing & Preparation: Extracting, transforming, and preparing financial data from various source systems for accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Report & Dashboard Development: Designing, building, and maintaining comprehensive financial variance reports and interactive dashboards, including overall summaries, category breakdowns, and detailed variance analyses.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Performing in-depth analysis of financial data to identify variances and support reconciliation efforts, including capturing data snapshots for historical comparison.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborating with project managers and other teams to understand reporting needs, provide insights, and ensure reports facilitate effective decision-making.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 5-6 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar field.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets from financial systems.
  • Expertise in data extraction and manipulation using SQL.
  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, and project accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
