We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Specialist.

As a key member of our data operations team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data collection solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated data extraction systems using web scraping technologies.

  • Develop multi-threaded data collection applications capable of handling high-volume data processing without interruptions.

  • Normalize extracted data, remove noise, and ensure consistency before passing it to data pipelines.

  • Implement data quality checks and deduplication techniques to maintain data accuracy.

  • Deliver clean, structured datasets into data warehouses and ETL pipelines for further enrichment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in web scraping, crawling, or data collection.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, and Requests.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and data serialization formats.
  • Experience in handling large-scale data processing with proxy management and rate-limiting.
  • Basic knowledge of ETL processes and integration with data pipelines.
  • Exposure to graph databases is a plus.
