Cybersecurity Specialist

The Cybersecurity Specialist role is responsible for expanding and enhancing the organization's Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Management, and API Security Controls teams. This involves ensuring perimeter security for web properties keeps pace with the changing threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with global tech functions to onboard internet-facing web applications to the WAF.
- Review logs, implement tuning, and web blocking for onboarded applications.
- Map IP addresses to FQDNs and services, as well as gather relevant application data for WAF migration purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with application owners and demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
- Web Network Security expertise, focusing on Web Application Firewalls/Controls and their role in layered Defense in Depth.
- Experience with Akamai or equivalent platforms, such as Radware, Imperva, Shape Security, CloudFlare, etc.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
