Special Educator Job Description

This is a role that involves working one-on-one with children who have developmental needs.

  • The Special Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • The educator will work closely with parents to ensure that the child's educational goals are aligned with their overall well-being and development.

In this role, you will design and deliver personalized special education sessions in a home environment. You will focus on building functional communication skills through structured activities and support the child's independence in daily living activities (ADLs). Additionally, you will conduct informal assessments to set measurable goals and track progress.

You will collaborate with other therapists and professionals to provide holistic support to the child and their family. A key aspect of this role is maintaining clear session records and updating the Carely team regularly.

Key Responsibilities:
