Location: Kottayam, Kerala
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies to meet our delivery schedules.
Main Responsibilities
- Purchasing and Sourcing
- Selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts, pricing, and payment terms to optimize costs.
- Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Inventory Management
- Coordinating with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical formulation industry.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi & Malayalam.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
