Printed Circuit Board Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design expert with strong expertise in designing high-quality PCBs for embedded hardware applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating schematic designs into manufacturable PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to convert schematics into detailed PCB layouts.
  • Design multilayer boards (2 – 8+ layers) with focus on signal integrity, grounding, and Electromagnetic Interference/ Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) considerations.
  • Handle component placement, routing of high-speed signals, and optimization for power and thermal performance.
  • Create and manage fabrication drawings, Gerber files, and assembly documentation.
  • Work closely with manufacturers to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Conduct design reviews, verify footprints, and maintain component libraries.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in PCB layout design (Altium Designer, KiCAD, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, and impedance control.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, power supplies, and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485, etc.).
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
