Senior ML Perception Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our perception team and contribute to the development of sophisticated low-level perception algorithms for advanced driver assistance systems.

We are continuously developing cutting-edge functions for self-driving car technology, and we need a talented engineer to participate in all development phases from prototyping to implementation, testing, and deployment of deep learning models.

In this role, you will work in an international and interdisciplinary environment with an agile mindset. Our campus offers cloud infrastructure to support your productivity with large amounts of data and focus on software for the automobile of the future.

To succeed in this position, you should have a solid foundation in computer vision, advanced machine learning, and deep learning principles. Proficient experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or ONNX is also essential.

You will be responsible for creating image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, monocular depth estimation, multi-task, and multi-modal neural networks. Experience in testing ML models and CI/CD-based development pipeline is also required.

A strong programming skill in Python with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms is necessary. Excellent communication skills in English and analytical and logical thinking ability are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Programming experience in C++ and OpenCL, experience in 3D reconstruction and 3D scene understanding (using Neural Radiance fields, Gaussian Splatting), experience in data processing and algorithm development on sensor data from cameras, RADAR, and LiDAR, and knowledge in sensor fusion technology are also desirable.
