We're seeking a meticulous Procurement Specialist to manage procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines. This includes identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors, as well as negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Strategic Procurement Management:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and compliance, maintaining a database of reliable partners.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts, leveraging market trends and data-driven insights.
• 2. Technical Procurement Support:
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical requirements are met, working closely with suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify purchased materials comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• 3. Cost Control and Budget Optimization:
  • Analyze procurement data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement initiatives to minimize expenses without compromising quality.
  • Forecast pricing trends and market fluctuations to inform budget decisions and mitigate financial risks.
• 4. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Closely coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, minimizing delays and disruptions.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• 5. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements throughout the procurement process.
  • Regularly assess potential risks related to procurement, including supplier financial stability and geopolitical factors.
• 6. Technology and Reporting:
  • Leverage procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing workflows and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement digital tools to enhance procurement transparency and efficiency.
