Software Development Engineer III

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer III - Mobile Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for implementing stunning mobile application user interfaces and solving engineering challenges in cross-platform mobile application development using modern technologies and tools.

- noon is the region's leading consumer commerce platform, expanding its ecosystem of services to include marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing visually appealing and easy-to-use mobile application user interfaces while remaining straightforward to implement, fitting various screen sizes, and suiting both iOS and Android.
- Communicating with highly scalable backend services using REST APIs.
- Participating in the design phase of new features and being actively involved in seeking the most suitable solutions.
- Localizing the applications for left-to-right and right-to-left languages while keeping in mind accessibility.
- Designing REST APIs interfaces and ensuring they are suitable for communication with mobile applications.
- Applying software development design patterns that are scalable while being easy to reason about and understand.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering).
- Highly skilled in React Native.
- Extensive knowledge of native mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and a perfect understanding of JavaScript build tools.
- Knowledge of handling differences between iOS and Android, including UI design guidelines and performance optimization.
- Proficient in working with RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in Git and version control practices.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in React Native.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers to implement high-quality interfaces.
- Strong communication skills.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
