  • Maintaining laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies necessary for testing and experiments is also crucial.
  • The technician must adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collections, labeling, and processing specimens according to established protocols while maintaining accurate records of sample information are essential duties.
  • Routine quality control checks must be conducted to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
  • The technician will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, such as microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and automated analyzers.
  • Analyze and interpret test results accurately and promptly, documenting findings accordingly.
  • Collaboration with laboratory team members and healthcare professionals ensures efficient workflow and timely delivery of test results.
  • Proper waste disposal procedures and maintaining a clean, organized laboratory environment are also required.
