Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP developer to fill this exciting role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using PHP.

Your primary focus will be on building high-quality code that meets the needs of our users. You will work closely with our frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and collaborate with the QA team to ensure code quality and functionality through comprehensive testing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PHP development, including experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend. Strong proficiency in Perl for scripting, automation, and system tasks is also essential.

Solid experience with C++ is required, particularly for building performance-sensitive applications. Understanding of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, including writing efficient queries, is also necessary.

Familiarity with modern software development tools, version control systems (Git), and Agile methodologies is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for coding and optimizing applications, are also important.

In addition, strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment, are crucial. The ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using PHP.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new and existing projects.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Develop and optimize scripts and utilities using Perl for automation and system administration tasks.
  • Work on performance-critical systems and write efficient, high-performance code using C++.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for better performance and security.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure code quality and functionality through comprehensive testing.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.
