Job Title: Data Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT governance professional to lead our organization's IT governance strategy, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks and enabling continuous improvement across IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT Governance Frameworks and Operations: Oversee IT governance frameworks and operations in alignment with COBIT, ITIL and ISO 20000 standards.
  • Develop and Implement IT Policies: Develop, implement and monitor IT policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee Policy Development and Compliance Tracking: Oversee policy development, compliance tracking and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate IT Risk Assessments and Audit Readiness Activities: Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • Maintain the IT Governance Calendar: Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings and action tracking.
  • Provide Expert Guidance on Governance Best Practices: Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare Governance Documentation and Reports: Prepare governance documentation, dashboards and reports for senior management, risk committees and audit boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA or CGEIT are highly desirable.
