Technical Security Advisor Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Security Advisor to join our team. As a Technical Security Advisor, you will serve as the pre-sales technical expert supporting our application security portfolio.

You will work closely with our Sales team to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and proofs of concept, and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workshops for our application security products.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of requests for information/requests for proposal and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting our application security products within DevSecOps and secure software development life cycle practices.
  • Partner with our Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (dynamic application security testing, static application security testing, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with our application security products or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

  • Location: Madurai, India (Hybrid role)
  • Primary Product Focus: Application security (on-premises and cloud)
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25–30% within India (primarily customer meetings and partner sessions)
