About the Job

The role of an AWS Data Engineer at HireXtra involves designing and implementing data pipelines using various AWS services. This includes developing efficient ETL processes with AWS Glue, automating tasks and processes with serverless computing solutions using AWS Lambda, and utilizing SNS and SQS for efficient messaging and event-driven architecture.

A key responsibility is to leverage PySpark, Python, and SQL for data processing, analysis, and transformation, as well as implement and optimize queries using AWS Athena for efficient querying of large datasets.

In addition, the successful candidate will utilize visualization tools such as Looker or Power BI for effective data representation and build end-to-end data pipelines, from conception to implementation, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Also, hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab/Github, Jira, Confluence, and other related tools is required.

Requirements
  • 7+ years experience as a Data Engineer in consumer finance or equivalent industry
