Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to perform in-depth testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of L4-7 network devices. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, debugging ability, and excellent communication skills.

The role requires testing network equipment in R&D environments. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to introduce test automation equipment, demonstrate products, execute test cases, debug, and troubleshoot.

  • Test network equipment (firewalls, VPN gateways, SD-WAN/SASE gateways, switches, load balancers, etc) for performance and security through various combinations of tests and recommend improvements.
  • Work with customers to introduce new test automation equipment, demonstrate the product, execute test cases in the customer environment, debug, and troubleshoot, etc
  • Provide product demonstrations to customers and work in customer environments to provide proof-of-concept and trials for test equipment

The successful candidate should have experience with test tools such as Keysight BPS, Spirent Test Center, Avalanche platform, Wireshark, etc. They should also be familiar with networking configuration and management on AWS and Azure.

A degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable, along with relevant work experience and CCNP/CCIE in security certification. Understanding test automation and scripting using technologies/platforms such as Python, REST APIs, Robot framework, etc is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Equipment Testing: Test firewalls, VPN gateways, SD-WAN/SASE gateways, switches, load balancers, etc for performance and security.
  • Customer Interface: Work closely with customers to introduce new test automation equipment, demonstrate products, execute test cases, debug, and troubleshoot.
  • Product Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations to customers and work in customer environments to provide proof-of-concept and trials for test equipment.
  • Test Setup Configuration: Configure and manage test setups and topologies that involves complex network setups on-prem and on the cloud (AWS/Azure, etc).
