About the Role:

A cloud architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable systems, focusing on security and high availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure efficient deployment of applications to AKS.
  • Manage AKS clusters for high availability and scalability, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement Terraform infrastructure as code to manage resources like virtual networks, subnets, and storage accounts.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth application deployment and operation.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or other tools to streamline infrastructure management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to cluster connectivity, resource allocation, or Terraform configuration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support of infrastructure-related issues.
  • Contribute to team goals and objectives, such as improving deployment efficiency, reducing downtime, or enhancing security.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, Azure DevOps, AKS, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, or other automation tools, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies, or willingness to obtain certifications.
