Job Opportunity:

This is a remote role with the option to work from home.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing and troubleshooting AWS Technologies, ECS, EKS.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Operating Systems such as AWS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Maintaining, managing and monitoring Cloud Infrastructure is also an essential aspect of this role.

The candidate will be required to resolve IT infrastructure issues and handle project implementation proactively.

A high-quality technical documentation skillset is also highly valued.

Additionally, supporting out of hours work when schedule requires is a requirement for this position.

The candidate must be able to onboard new Cloud technologies and challenge existing implementations in a professional and constructive manner.

Engagement in Cloud security activities is also expected.

Compliance with ITSM/ITIL methodologies in day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure is mandatory.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in AWS Cloud or in the related field is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of Cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Detective.
Technical Skill
  • Operating Systems: Red Hat, AWS Linux
  • Build Tools/CI/Virtual/: AWS DevOps, Jenkins
  • Containers Environment: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
  • Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services
  • Automation/Scripting Languages: Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python
  • Databases: MySQL
  • Others: Ansible
Professional Certification
  • Candidate preferred to have the following certification;
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA)
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer or related Linux certifications
  • Relevant Cloud Security certificates
